I provide individual therapy services for children aged 9 and above, adolescents, and adults. My therapeutic approach addresses a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, behavioral challenges, depression, parenting difficulties, school-related issues, and building self-confidence.
My goal is to equip clients with practical skills that they can apply in their everyday lives, fostering a more enriching relationship with themselves and facilitating deeper connections with others.
** If you have scheduled an appointment for a minor child (under 18), a parent or guardian must attend sessions for legal reasons, billing reasons, and to assist in the therapy.
I find fulfillment in assisting families in fostering cooperation, compassion, and understanding, which are crucial elements for supporting the family unit to function, communicate effectively, and evolve together. Additionally, I specialize in working with couples in diverse relationship dynamics.
In couples' sessions, our focus is on reinstating open and honest communication, dismantling destructive patterns, and navigating the various phases of a relationship. My aim is to equip couples with practical skills that they can apply in their daily lives, promoting a more satisfying relationship and fostering deeper connections.
I am a Certified Gottman Method Couples Training. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists and the American Psychological Association.
I bring a diverse and holistic approach to my practice, drawing from my extensive educational background and training.
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Utah, where I laid the groundwork for my passion for understanding human behavior and relationships.
Furthering my education, I earned a Master's Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica.
Building upon this foundation, I pursued a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with an Emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Through this program, I delved deeply into the unconscious mind, exploring the hidden dynamics that shape individuals and relationships. This emphasis on depth psychology has enriched my practice, allowing me to help clients uncover underlying patterns and narratives that may be influencing their lives.
Additionally, I have received a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University, further solidifying my expertise in the field. I am dedicated to providing my clients with a safe and supportive space to explore their challenges, cultivate self-awareness, and embark on a journey towards healing and transformation. I strive to empower individuals, couples, and families to discover their innate resilience and create fulfilling relationships and lives.
